- Each tractor will only be
allowed to pull twice per event.
- No jumping classes
- Entries must draw for position in each
class and no drawing after class starts. Entry fee is $25 per hook, no
refunds.
- Scale will be on grounds. All tractors
must weigh. Driver must weigh in with tractor in all classes. All
classes will allow a 200# grace over printed class weights.
- Minors must have written permission by
parent or guardian and have completed a tractor safety course in order
to pull.
- Tractors must hoods, grills, starters, batteries and a seat. No tire
chains, 4 wheel drives, or duals allowed in any class.
- No exhibition pulls will be
allowed.
- Weights shall not extend more than 13'
from the center of rear axle to furthest point forward.
- All pulls must be made from a solid drawbar.
Maximum drawbar height not to exceed 20” to the top of the hooking
point. Hitch shall be no closer than 18” from the center of the rear
axle to the point the hook of sled makes contact. No pulling off 3rd link in any class.
Only one clevis may be used on any drawbar.
- Hook hitches, (clevis, ring, plate,
etc.) must have 3” diameter hole and be no less than ¾” thick. The hitch
point to the back edge of the drawbar cannot exceed 1 inch. The hook from the
sled must drop in and swing freely. Drawbars must be set up in such a
manner that they will not move during a pull. No weights shall be hung
directly above hitch point so as not to interfere with hooking of sled.
- Test pull at sled operator’s discretion.
If tractor is having mechanical problems and driver stops before the 100’
marker, they will be allowed to drop to the end of the class and have
one attempt to start the sled and make their pull. No repairs
will be made on the track. If the last tractor is having trouble, puller
will be allowed five minutes to fix the problem before next class is
allowed to start.
- All pullers must start with a tight chain, and will be allowed two
consecutive attempts and 100' to start sled.
- Tractors will be stopped if front wheels
exceed 24”. Flagmen has complete discretion.
- If tractor goes out of bounds it will
result in a disqualification - no measurement will be taken. The sled may
cross the line as long as the tractor stays in bounds. Loss of any weight or any part of
tractor or driver clothing until tractor is unhooked from the sled will
also result in a disqualification.
- Laser measurements will be final.
- No consumption of intoxicating substances before you pull. You must
remain seated during your pull and drive in a safe manner both on the
track and in the pit area.
- Puller must have the green flag to
start. Any puller starting or pulling on the red flag will be
disqualified.
- Violations of any class rules or any
general safety rules shall constitute in a disqualification.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a disqualification and will
not be tolerated, and will be removed from
the fairgrounds.
- In case of disqualification, all judge's decisions are final.
- All drivers pull at their own risk. The
Worth County Fair is not responsible for accident or injury or damage to
equipment.
- No exceptions to any rules will be
allowed. All rules will be interpreted by the Board of Directors. Any unforeseen
problems or oversights will be ruled on by the Board with their rulings
being final.
- All turbocharged tractors running over stock rpms must have two
.375" grade 5 bolts in horizontal position, 90 degrees apart, in exhaust
stack.
Remember, this is only a tractor pull, so have fun!!!! Pulling is a
privilege, not a right.
DIESEL TRUCK RULES
- Entry fee is $25. NO REFUNDS!
- Class will be limited to 15 entries. Pre-registration
recommended!
- Pull position will be determined by order entry when received.
- Diesel trucks will run in their own weight class.
- Weight class will be 9000 lbs.
- Max hitch height will be 26".
- Hitch point must be beyond frame rails - No pulling type hitches
allowed.
- Front weights will be allowed, but not to extend more than 60" from
centerline of front axle.
- Max tire size of 35". Must be DOT approved.
- All trucks must be licensed and insured and have proof of it.
- All trucks must be in line when called or may not be allowed to pull
with no refund, and driver must be in truck at al times if it's running.
- Any vehicle outside of boundaries, or has any breakage will get
distance at that point.
- All pulling is at the pullers own risk and they are responsible for
their actions, and any driver believed to be intoxicated may be
disqualified.
- Blankets or scatter shields are not required around bell housing
area, but are strongly recommended.
- Drivetrains must be 1 ton or less.
- Must have stock appearing front bumper or no bumper.
- No exhaust out of hood or fenderwall.
- No arguing with officials whose decisions are final!
*Remember, this is only a truck pull, so have fun!!! Pulling is a
privilege, not a right.
HOT STOCK CLASS RULES
- All general rules apply.
- Tractors must have original manufacturer's engine block for that
tractor, stock configuration head, and drive line-all subject to Board
of Directors approval. Head must match the fuel used. No custom made
heads.
- Tractors can have any size injection pump up to and including a P
series Bosch pump.
- No down draft carburetion and only one carb allowed on tractor.
- No fuel or air additives of any kind allowed, now nitrous oxide, one
fuel per tractor.
- No alcohol allowed as a fuel or fuel additive.
- All hot stock tractors must have wide front ends that track within
rear wheels. Exceptions made for lighter classes.
- All hot stock classes will allow a single turbo with 3" intake and
exhaust sides not to exceed 4". Slotted housings are allowed (must be
factory slotted housing and slots must enter behind the face of the
wheel); measure inlet and exhaust within 2" of the wheel. All other
classes are naturally aspirated. No Intercoolers!
- Cut tires are allowed, and are limited 24.5x32 max.
- All tractors must have fenders, steel flywheel, wheelie bars (each
wheelie bar must be connected in at least 2 places), a 6 ply scatter
blanket (for turbo charged hot stock tractors) or a 4 ply scatter
blanket (for all non turbo hot stock tractors), and a safety kill switch
located a minimum of 24" above the drawbar, centered and directly above
the drawbar. All tractors must have a 2.5 lb. fire extinguisher
installed within easy reach of the driver.
- All hot stock class tractors: Must have a sturdy roll cage or
tractor will not be allowed to pull. Tractors must have a second fuel
shut-off at the fuel pump. Side shields must be able to be quickly
removed. Tractors must have tie bars from frame rails to rear end.
Drivers must wear seatbelts and helmets.
FARM STOCK CLASS RULES
- Tire size limits as follows:
7000# - 18.4 x 38 maximum
9000# - 18.4 x 38 maximum
11000# - 20.8 x 38 maximum, turbo allowed
13000# - 20.8 x 38 maximum, turbo allowed
- All general rules apply.
- All tractors must be factory stock RPM. If tractor is not listed,
2000 rpm's will be used as a base.
- RPM's will be checked at random. All diesel tractors must have a
positive throttle stop at the fuel injection pump, not having a stop or
not having it set within rpm limits will result in disqualification.
- No cut tires allowed.
- Tractor must have original manufacturer's stock block. TSC power
blocks will be allowed.
- All oil lines, exhaust system, and intake tubing must fit in a
totally stock manner and must be installed on the tractor in order to
compete. All stock air cleaner housings must be on tractor and hooked up
in a stock manner, air cleaner elements are not mandatory.
- All tractors must have platforms, factory front end for that
tractor, factory seat and suspension.
- No side shields allowed unless factory original.
- All tractors must have visibly stock pump for that tractor. Exceptions will be made
for parts that are no longer available at judge's discretion.
- No use of nitrous oxide allowed.
- See #11 in General Rules.
- If you're in the top 3 positions you must stay at the end of the
track until you've been bumped out of the top 3. Top 3 tractors will
then be checked for rpm before leaving end of the track or your position
will be forfeited.
IMPROVED STOCK CLASS RULES
- All general rules apply.
- No tires larger than 20.8x38. Cut Tires Allowed.
- In-line fuel pumps are allowed on all makes. Throttle stops must be
set at or below 3000 rpms on all tractors. Tractors must not exceed 3000
rpms at any time. Diesel tractors must have air shut-off!
- Tractors are limited to one turbo with an inlet of 2.75" or less and
an outlet of 3" or less. Slotted housings are allowed (must be factory
slotted housing and slots must enter behind the face of the wheel);
measure inlet and exhaust within 2" of the wheel.
- No intercoolers unless stock (must be used in stock fashion-no
iceboxes).
- No nitrous oxide may be used.
- Gas tractor naturally aspirated can exceed 3000 rpm's if equipped
with a scatter blanket.
- Tractor must have OEM block for that brand.
