Open Lamb Show
Saturday, June 23, 2007, 4:00 p.m.
(Immediately following dairy show)
- All 4-H lamb project members are invited
from Mitchell, Floyd, Cerro Gordo, Hancock and Winnebago counties in MN.
4-H members must have completed 4th grade.
- A copy of the 4-H Lamb Identification
form is required. 4-H members can only show lambs that are listed on the
identification form.
- A scrapie tag is required in ear of all
weathers.
- All lambs must be slick shorn.
- Offering Market Lamb, Feeder Lamb (under
100 lbs) and Commercial Ewe Lamb Classes. Grand and Reserve Champion
trophies will be awarded in each division. A maximum of 3 lambs can be
show per division. All lambs must be slick shorn.
- Senior, Intermediate and Junior
showmanship classes offered. A Champion trophy will be awarded for each
age division.
- A lamb show blanket will be
given to each 4-H member exhibiting.
- Pen space and electricity available.
- All lambs will be inspected by Worth
County Fair veterinarian, Mike Dierenfeld.
- No charge to participate in the lamb
show. Must pay Worth County Fair gate entry fee.
